The Internet is V Emotional About Dan’s New Video
So Dan uploaded a new video on danisnotonfire this week, and it made the Internet super f*cking emotional.

The video in question: “A Message For My Younger Self,” wherein 24-year-old Dan shares some words of wisdom with teenage Dan. As is the case with any situation that involves reflecting on teenage years, things got super real and we learned a lot of heartbreaking things about our small Internet child.

Dan’s videos always have a way of offering a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel of existential despair, but there’s something really special about this one. It’s nice to know that even Dan- the guy who has millions of followers, hangs out with celebrities, has won huge awards and is living his dream career- had to find his footing at first. This video’s description says it best:
“Whenever you’re feeling down, just picture me and know that there is someone out there that has failed harder, been even more awkward and regrets even more of their decisions. I am a martyr for your flaws.”
